Configuring Pegasus Email Client for Kinetic

Novell Netware Servers

This is the procedure to setup Pegasus for new Kinetic email accounts. This is for installations where the user's email files are located on the Novell file server in the user personal directory.

Step 1:
Create the new MOREnet Kinetic user account.
Step 2:
Log into the local network as ADMIN. Create the Novell user account using NWADMIN. The user needs to have read and file scan rights to the Pegasus server client and full rights to the user's personal directory ("I" drive at Seneca).
Step 3:
From a "F" drive DOS prompt, run MAKEMBOX.EXE to create the "I" drive mailbox for the new user.
Step 4:
Log into the local network as the new new user.
Step 5:
Place a shortcut ICON on the desktop to the server Pegasus 4.12 client (winpm-32.exe). Start the client by clicking on the shortcut.
Step 6:
	The Pegasus 4.12 client should launch. Click the "Next" button on the Internet Setup dialog box.
